A Dramatic Entrance!



     There was another occasion that Nikolai Dante became became separated
from his sergeant.  In Prog 1237 (April 11 2001) during the Romanov attempt to
seize the Darklands (the perpeptually dark vampire ruled province of the
empire) his troops were captured but Dante escaped.  While he planned a rescue
Elena and the surviving troops met the vampire overlord of the Darklands.

     Selene was refering to Emmanuelle who had dedicated herself to destroying
vampirism after Selene turned her into one.  She accompanied Dante on his
rescue mission which succeeded in rescuing his troops and wiping out the
vampires.
     Another success for Dante and the Irregulars but all good things come to
an end and the war turned against the Romanovs.  Betrayed by his family except
for Andreas Romanov (who had stayed because he had just begun a passionate
affair with Elena) Nikolai made his last stand in his protectorate, Rudistan
awaiting the inevitable unstoppable onslaught.  In Prog 1257 (Aug. 29 01)
Elena was offered a chance to escape the end.  Script by Robbie Morrison, Art

     Elana returned to the city for the final battle alongside Andreas.  He
died in the fighting trying to save civilians leaving Elena to mourn.  If she
escaped from the Czar's mop up forces remains unrecorded at present.  Dante's
still at large so maybe he'll meet up with Elena again someday.
